Sometimes he gets a Denta Stick - yes I know these are not great but they are above and beyond all else his absolute favourite things in the world, you wouldn't believe how excited he gets about these. Hahaha hey, they are called treats for a reason!!! No need to justify giving him something he absolutely loves;) There are these nasty little dental chew bones by hartz that Oakley and Laurel go CRAZY for. So they get them from time to time. They smell like dirty cookie dough to me but man ... never seen my girls so happy! |

I'm pretty selective about treats because they either make their allergies kick up or make Roo's anal glands act up oddly. So they usually only get these:
Bully Sticks
Stella & Chewy's Carnivore Crunch treats (I wonder why they call them carnivore crunch too, they're like mini sponges, lol.)
Zukes treats
Honest Kitchen Wishes
I use the Hextra chews too.

Kristi, I've never seen any hacked up rabbit fur? We do the ears though...never tried the feet. I have found a bit of fur in poo but that's it! No diarrhea or vomitting or anything.
Wishes...I need to check them out. I want to find another treat than the Pecks (buffalo/blueberry treats I mentioned--just checked to see what the name was). The pups love them though....but I just would rather find a grain free treat similar. I know they sell Wishes at the Animal House...I'll have to check those out this weekend when I'm in!

Wishes are just dried fish, haddock I think! They smell REAALLYYYY fishy though!! Have you checked out Kona's Chips website? They have some good stuff there, and all made in the USA.

Nope, but I will check it out! I thought that's what Wishes were but couldn't remember.... I need to order more bully sticks too. Dang a few of my dogs plow through chews. Oh & flossies...forgot to add flossies to the list I think! |
