I have never ever had this problem before....so I need help. My collie mix, Sandy is having a problem with what looks like horse flies. She doesn't smell, she gets frontlined, e.t.c. but they will not leave her alone...they keep trying to eat on her ears....my mom usually has this problem every year with her dogs....so I don't know if something has changed or what...they aren't after the other fur kids. Any suggestions?

Horse flies & deer flies...ACK! Seems like they only bother when we're out for a walk & we happen to be spotted by one. Otherwise they aren't outside long enough to be bothered. I dunno why they're all of a sudden attracted to Sandy though--sounds a bit weird if she's never had that problem before. I wonder if you got some neem spray or something it would repel them? Just an idea... I dunno if they're repelled by neem or not like some bugs are.
