Ok, thanks for the input guys! I will go to once a day feedings and see how it goes! Just didn't want him to wither up and blow away. HA HA.

See I would possibly want a few more Ounces on brody his waist looks a little too prominent to me.
Anyway no problem feeding once a day I couldn't because of daisy and her bloody reflux but if he wants it once aday then do it makes it let stressful for you

I see Brody as one of those thinned framed Chi's. You could probably get a pound on him & he'd look the same but overweight. LOL Matilda & Maya are the same way....

Yes he's very thin framed. He's got those itty bitty stick legs too!

Brody is built just like Oakley, they have a tiny waist and when they gain that's not even where they gain at first! I have to go by Oakley's body and not her waist, the vet does not want her an ounce over 3lb 4 ounce and she looks a tiny bit meatier than Brody but not by much. The tuck is deceiving on dogs built like them b'c its not the common 'chi' build, and it would be very easy to have them overweight because of the way they are built but IMO it would put undue stress on their tiny joints. I always call Oakley my mini italian greyhound, b'c that's how she's built. No matter how fat an IG is its gonna have a 'tuck' and waist b'c its the way the dog is built, but it can still be overweight.

If he's happier eating once a day than I'd say go for it! I couldn't do it with mine because they're little piggies, but if Brody is happy and healthy than yeah... I think he looks amazing Tracy. Love his shiny coat! Honestly, I think his body is fine....not to skinny. He could gain a pound and still be just fine. Imo.

I think Brody looks great, Tracy. He has a similar build to Roo, although Roo is thinner then Brody. Roo has a severe tuck too and a tiny waist. I would just feed once a day, I'm sure it'll be fine. Mine are the opposite, they eat twice a day, but would happily eat as often as I'd let them, I'm sure. LOL.
