Harry stopped eating most of the bone inside chicken wings a long time ago, and mostly just sucks and chews the meat off instead. He will eat the tiny bones, but he takes forever. And while he's doing that, he runs off round the house with the wing in his mouth if I turn my back for a second. And that does happen, as he takes literally hours to consume one wing.
So... I've started putting the wings through the mincer and he scoffs up the equivalent of a whole wing in no time in one meal. I know it's not helping his teeth as much, but at least it's keeping his poo firm.
(I've also started to add some ZiwiPeak as I'm mincing the wings, to make sure he eats it!)
The thing is that my mincer is really meant for just meat and pasta only, not bone, and I can feel it won't last too long if I carry on, so I need to get a sturdier, more industrial, one.
Can anyone in the UK who minces their own, recommend a mincer?

I only know of brands here in the US. But I know a lot of cat people mince/grind their raw meals and some dog people do it as well.

Good idea... that was my next step after checking to see if anyone here already had a recommendation. I actually prefer Amazon reviews to magazine type reviews (as long as there are enough ppl who've written one).I only know of brands here in the US. But I know a lot of cat people mince/grind their raw meals and some dog people do it as well. Yes Tracy, my cats have already joined Harry at his food bowl and started tucking in since I've been mincing! While it's amusing to see cat and dog eating from the same bowl at the same time, it makes it harder to check on quantity going into each animal, so it won't be the norm!
