You don't -have- to use water.. honey or something would work. They can't eat it with food though, needs to be taken on an empty stomach (preferably 30mins before food). If it's powdery and they try and lick it up but inhale it, it will harm the lungs.. water (we mix DEarth, apple cider vinegar, joint supps, and bovine colostrum together in the AM w/water) would make it so they don;t inhale it. I take mine in a small glass of water.

Kelly, I'm convinced I have worms lol I'm always hungry. I might have to take some! Do you give it to them 365 of the year?
Mine definitely won't drink it but I like the idea of mixing with a little honey. What about when you pour it out? It doesn't puff up, does it? I'm scared I'll inhale it!

We usually only give it for a few weeks, then stop for a while. Then start back up again (mostly my laziness, rather than an actualy reason for that).
Use a small spoon/etc to take it out, don't pour it - it will puff when poured, but not if you just use a tsp or whatever. Since that woman seems to think you can give it with food, I think I may start putting it in our kids food now... see how she goes.

Oh right, good to know! I'd definitely like to give this a go. I was reading and the woman said that she puts it on the coat to kill fleas. The only problem I'd have with that is I wouldn't want them accidentally breathing it in while they're playing. So how do you deal with fleas? My guys rarely have them, its usually in the summer that I will spot one on Kiki and end up using a flea treatment on them but it scares me

Haha saying that I've only ever found one on Kiki on two separate occasions and then last week one on Rogue as she'd be laying in grass! Everyone got treated and so did the house and I've seen nothing since.

Since we are raw, we don't ever really get fleas. :S We just kill the few that pass through, and use the DE whenever we see a few (on carpets/beds/kids legs/chests mostly - that way it's not in their faces).
We also use it OUTSIDE! You can put it around your house to keep pests out.

I've never even seen a flea, I don't know how I'd recognize one...
