Now I know most people consider guinea pigs to be childrens pets  But I have two of my own, still have oldie Autumn and old man Rye, as well as two rescue piggies I am fostering ... Acorn and Squirrel ... who look as though they will be staying with me  We found a lovely home with local vet for their dad and sister ... we had dad neutered before they went in together! Will get some new pics to post next couple of days .... x |

Aww I love guinea pigs! I used to have one when I was younger and I called him Bruce Willis. Always great when we went to the vets and they called us in!
I love your guinea pig's names! I'd love to see pics! ;D

I'd love to see pics! ;D  This is Squirrel not long after he arrived with us and before we had him neutered. The plan was to find him a home with a female guinea pig, but he has bonded with his half brother, also neutered, so I'd like a home for them together ... if they do not stay with me Myself and rescue friend are keeping our ears open! |

Amanda has 2 new GP she got a few weeks ago Every home should have at least two  I have my little oldie girl on her own, wish I could find another gentle, elderly sow to keep her company, all too young that I know of  |

Ive been showing and breeding rarebreed guinea pigs since 2004. We have imported and exported from Germany,Sweden France etc. I have cut down to just one breed now the lovely 'Swiss'. Myself and my children have won may fab awards at shows all over the country and had great fun with our'piggies' and even now we still look forward to a new litter being born. We have a litter due at the moment and we have the air conditioning and three large fans in our 'cavy shed' to help keep them cool in this hot weather, bless they have got it better than me lol.
