Blood test now

So Pixel is in for her blood test now. I am so upset she was so worried when I left her she threw up and was shaking really bad.

Ironically this morning since getting up her water consumption has been much less than other mornings, ditto her weeing, although she did wet her bed again last night.

I am absolutely fed up to the back teeth of her being at the vet, every time she goes it ends up hurting and who knows how nicely she will sit for bloods.

I should have the results for liver, kidney and diabetes test this afternoon though, seems quick doesn't it?

Okay initial results showing good kidney, liver function and no diabetes.

Next running white blood cells test testing for anemia.

Thank you Lucy! She's home now and on my lap and her kidneys are fine I am so so so chuffed! ;D

Where did they take the blood from?

From her neck That's where they take it from for my cats too. It looks very clean and I rubbed it by accident earlier giving her a welcome home scratch and she didn't even flinch so I am thinking they found her vein easier than they find mine!

She smells like a hospital at the moment, I am going to bathe her later in something nice.

Anyway this still doesn't explain her water consumption or wetting issue - I just hope that over the next few weeks it sorts itself out. It's got to be linked to her surgery journey - but how I just don't know.
