Try feeding it with a wing tip! They use a lot of heart as their meat base as it is cheap and it doesn't agree with all dogs. My girls have bigger darker poos on the beef. Lucys chaos gets v v v bad diaroeah from it Mine do well on the lamb

Brody does great on both beef and lamb. If he eats heart, he has a looser dark stool from all the blood in the meat. If it corrects in a day, I don't worry about it. What goes in, comes out. So I adjust accordingly and keep wing tips in the freezer. If I see a loose stool, he gets a wing tip and then he's fine.

Well it scared the life out of me - it was all blood. Freaky!
So what's a wing tip? Just the end of the wing?

Yes, like Sarah said. It's the very end of the wing. It's mostly bone and a little cartilage and a little skin. No meat. I keep some in the freezer. Brody thinks they are a treat and will eat them frozen. They have just enough bone to correct loose stools and most dogs like them.

Really intersting posts, think I'd be totally grey if I was raw feeding!
