What color is he? The pieds are obnoxious, the fawns are middle of the road, and the brindles are usually laid back. Of course if he has a tentative owner that's not confident, he will run all over her. They might be small. They might be bred down from the big dogs. But they are still a bulldog and they have a lot of stubborn tendencies and a mind of their own. They really need experienced owners.

He's fawn/creamish in color? She looks like a deer in the headlights (the owner does), but she is doing pretty well considering! Do you know if Frenchies have patella issues? I can't tell but there's something funky about the dog's rear legs even though the angulation is nice.

Yes, they have patella issues. But they also can move kind of strange anyway with that wide front and more narrow rear. They don't have quite the bulldog 'roll' but they can certainly move rather awkwardly. Don't know how to describe it really. You want to see a wider set in the rear or else they look like an egg beater when moving and that looks AWFUL. How's Kimber doing with potty training? Is she a good eater? It would be fun to have an easy going puppy.

Kimber is stupid w/ potty training so far!! She 'kinda' gets it, but she will just pee in her own bed and almost always does then she starts crying!!!! She eats pretty well She is thinnish ATM because she can't seem to eat enough to stay chunky like a pup should be...we are switching her to a higher cal food with less filler tho so that should help, then we will gradually introduce some raw for dental health and whatnot:) Shes eating 6 cups of food a day right now...!!

Oh my woooooooooord it'll cost more to feed her than all of your Chi's! ;D
I always found big dogs & beds DO NOT mix well. My labs forever would pee on their beds for whatever reason. Hopefully she gets the hang of it soon!

I'm a little late to this party! haha! She is wonderful, Kristi. My husband really REALLY wants one as well. Alas, we don't have time, money, or space for another dog... that big... yet anyway! Oh, do enjoy her! She is a beautiful example of the breed and I'm so jealous! Congrats to you--and your husband!

She is SO lovely! I really am not a fan of cropped ears either, but otherwise she's beautiful - such a lovely colour. I think blue is my fave colour for any animal, and I agree - a cute baby hippo is just what she looks like!
Best of luck with showing her.
