I have seen the same results.... fresh breath, clean teeth, no body (doggy) odor, tight and muscular/lean body condition, small poos, lots of energy. (!)
I'd never go back to kibble after having fed raw. I wish I had known about it years ago as it would have been such a huge benefit to my two dogs I had before. Especially Piper who had horrible allergies. I wish she could have been raw fed, but I had never heard of it.

I once asked my butchers for wing tips that they were cutting off and throwing and they tried to charge me for that too!

oh yeah Sarah! I forgot about no shedding. Brody doesn't have the correct double coat, he has a very tight, smooth, single coat - kind of like a doberman with no undercoat at all. That naturally produces less shedding, but he doesn't shed. His coat is nice and shiny too with NO flakes, dry skin, or dandruff. Dandruff is so distracting on a black dog.

I didn't know double coat was correct, I thought a single coat was correct, shows how much I know.

Tracy why do you think I never saw the benefits as much as I should have? I remember asking you about it before and you said about chicken but from what I'm reading, a few people don't feed majority of red meat so I'm confused I'm going to take a picture when I sweep the floor tomorrow morning to show you all Kiki's fur. Its CRAZY how much comes off of her but its not like she's bald!

Lucy, how long did you feed raw? Could you post a typical menu, say for a week, and we could take a look? Sometimes its something small, like not feeding enough organs. Or too much chicken, etc. Some dogs just shed more than others, but usually raw fed dogs don't lose near as much hair as kibble fed counterparts.
You have to remember that some dogs will do great on a certain diet, and some not so much. Kind of like people. You could have two people eating the same diet and one does super on it and the other doesn't. You're feeding orijen right? That's one of the BEST quality dog foods out there. I wouldn't feel bad about that at all.

It doesn't seem to be having great effects though I'm gonna finish up this bag and go back to raw, well as raw as I can with my budget haha. Hoping to maybe mix some grinds in there to bulk it up a bit, maybe see how we go with ziwi peak although after working it out, it was just as expensive for me! Ok, I can't remember exactly. Oh wait, one week I wrote a diary lol let me get that... Saturday: Beef kidney + wing tip Sunday: Beef liver + wing tip Monday: Beef Tues: Beef tongue Wednesday: Lamb heart + chicken thigh Thursday: Chicken wing Friday: Chick wing Saturday: kidney + wing tip Sunday: liver + wing tip *Edited to add, I'm not sure if it was beef kidney + liver because my butcher only ever really had lamb lol so I don't know if i gave them a chunk of beef that day or what haha* Also wanted to add that I was very anal about it all lol and weighed it all so Kiki was on 6oz and Gambit 5.5oz and they had exactly 10% organs (5% of each). If they had loose stools I'd feel more chicken wings etc. This was the week when I bought the tongue though. It was like £15! and lasted a week LOL. Also, it depended on what I found at the bucther so that week was mostly beef but other weeks it might be mostly pork. This was when it started getting expensive because I thought the chicken wasn't giving the proper effects. I had them on that diet from april (shortly after gambit came home) until about Oct/Nov.
