TOo weird Heather, I hope they didn't change the formulas on us or something and we don't notice, but the dogs do?

I hope not? We're on a new (big) bag of Lamb since last week & he's been just fine until last night. Everyone else has been eating it normally though? Though come to think of it Maxie did vomit the other morning which is unusual for him & it was hardly digested from the night before. It was a one time thing so I didn't think too much of it. It was lighter in color than the last batch but I know that isn't unusual especially since I got the lamb this time & last was venison. I dunno...

My guys don't really like Ziwi so we do more S & C. Everyone else loves it and eats like a pig. I really think Leah is just being picky, but it's annoying. I also think its possible one of the supplements she gets could be upsetting her stomach. She HATES fish flavored things so I can only get her to have fish oil by squirting it in her mouth and you should see her face when I do that

I like S&C's better but it's more expensive to feed & I'm poor lately so ZP it is for now. LOL I have been getting a bag here & there but I go through two 6lb bags of S&C's in 8 days. $$$$ An 11lb bag of ZP is lasting like 3 weeks from what I can figure plus I throw in chicken wings here & there. Anyway...they like whatever I feed them typically. Marley has never been picky so I think he was just feeling not that hungry for whatever reason. Hopefully tonight his appetite is better.
As for Leah...maybe she has a fish allergy which is why she's showing an aversion to it? I know that if I offer beef to Mari she automatically walks away & as you know she doesn't tolerate it either. I think sometimes they know what makes them feel sick & avoid it. Maybe cut the fish oil out & see if it helps? That could be the fur loss culprit too?

To me her fur loss spots REALLY looked like ringworm. We treated them as if they were, because it took 10 days for the culture to come back anyway...it came back negative and the spots no longer looked irritated or scaley but so far we also haven't gotten any fur to grow back. The two spots are also VERY different. I've tried to get pics but I can't get anything decent...pooo pooo.

I do tend to think that its entirely possible too many baths are to blame for the patches of fur missing, so bad to say, but she got a LOT of baths this fall. She was in a LOT of shows. And she got blow dried a LOT. So we'll see if a couple months bath-free helps her out. If it does, I will get a super mild shampoo for her in the spring and use the same conditioner/products, but let her air dry and then fluff/groom only the necessary parts once she's dry.

She didn't even sniff her food tonight and just walked away. I can't find the thermometer, but she's acting fine. Felt her belly to see if there might be any kind of blockage - nope, feels normal. So, I syringed some kaopectate in her mouth and a syringe of yogurt. Went to go give a treat to everyone else...guess who's there dancing around on her hind legs just like everyone else? LEAH. Brat. I think she's fine, I think she is being bratty and PICKY! I hope, anyway...
