She didn't eat breakfast, either, though. I wonder how long she can keep this up?

LOL...sounds like she's testing her abilities to see if you'll give her more of the good stuff (treats)?? What a little turd! Sucks because you don't want her to go so long w/o food but on the other hand... Can you use her food as a "treat" & trick her into eating it? LOL

If I feed it more than a few meals in a row he starts to get picky and will skip a meal or two. He likes Stella & Chewy's better but it is so expensive. I hope Leah is just being picky and isn't sick. |

Heather - I might be able to? But, then I'd have to do it all the time. I did that w/ Oakley when she was little and it took forever to get her out of the habit.
She really seems to be FEELING fine...so I wonder if she is just being a total snot.

I'd just wait it out if she's doing fine and acting normal.
This morning Brody took one sniff of his breakfast and then gagged and started heaving. He threw up about a teapsoon of yellow bile. Seriously?! He's been eating the same breakfast for months! I gave him a couple little treats just so his tummy wouldn't be totally empty. He ate those fine.
This afternoon he had some beef (raw) and he ate it very enthusiastically. So far, so good with his tummy.
So I don't know what the answer is. Very frustrating when they won't eat. Especially when they've been eating fine up till now!!!

I know...I was just thinking--if it were me I'd get nervous about her not eating for so long & still being pretty small. What do ya do? Hopefully she comes out of it. It (to me) does sound like she's being a snot. LOL

She pretty much has only been eating lately once everyone else is done and trying to get at her bowl. She's so rotten, lol. She has been getting a lot of 'nummies' at shows...so I bet that doesn't help. And if I give her a chicken neck or raw beef or whatever, that isn't a premade, she downs it. So I sort of think shes trying to convince me to feed her total prey model but I can't get kidney so that's probably not going to hppen.

I gave her the yogurt so that's enough to keep her blood sugar up. She also stole a dried chicken cookie from someone else and ate that victoriously. If my dogs don't eat their meals they don't get treats...I was surprised she didn't want her food tonight.
