I think it depends. Mari was 4.5lbs when she was bred for the first time. She's now 5lbs since (never went back down in weight--she isn't fat either?). Anyway Maya is 4.5lbs & bigger in height & length but I'd never breed from her because she's narrower & more "fragile". For me I think my minimum would be 4lbs but Lulu is a little bit smaller than Mari at 11mo (4lbs 11oz but probably shouldn't be much more than 4lbs) & I was a bit nervous about her size if I was to keep & breed her. I'd have to had found a stud that was known to have smaller lines behind him. She's got the build though so I bet she'd have been fine.
Anyway I think you have to decide based on each individual dog.

All the Tampico dogs I've seen are massive maybe it's the coat???
Gemma I would trust Anne. She's not a run of the mill idiot breeding a 3 1/2lb dog because she has it she knows what she is doing if you did breed her you could ask her to help you whelp her.
Louise I would be about 680 lol we are never far From each other, I'm normally with Chloe.
