Hi All I'm new here and can't believe that I have found a Chi forum where the idea of breeding your dog doesn't instantly get you jumped on from a huge height. I have attached a pic of my Daisy, she is just 7 months and hasn't had her first season yet and at last weighing was 4lb 12oz. I know she's got plenty of growning time left so I am hopeful as she is such a beautiful girl and my little boy who is 17 mths old is under 4lbs so think they should be OK together. I know we can't breed her until she is 2yrs old but was just wondering if you all think she will be OK to breed. Thanks Angie

We promote responsible breeding only here. Can't see a picture try putting it on photo bucket and posting the IMG link. BUT what I will say is it is very unlikely your boy will be a match for your girl in confirmation and pedigree. Weight isn't the thing with breeding it's pelvis size ideally. If your chi conforms to standard then find a stud that fixes her faults etc. it's a lot of hard work finding the perfect dog and that mating can still chuck out stuff you weren't aware of.
