UGH...I know what you mean. No fun waiting for the heat--it's always so iffy at first too! It'll be so nice when they're done with their heats. You'll have a few months of R&R w/o worrying then. LOL Yep! And I will breed Katie on her 2nd heat I think....yayyy! Puppies this time next yearrr!

Exciting!!!! OMG I can't wait... Do you have a waiting list yet? haha No but if Katie's breeder still has this one boy that she has, I will! :-p Only problem is that I am concerned I will get all white/cream puppies again with spots, as that's what the daddy is. But structurally and physically they'd be very nice puppies ! Good thing I have quite a bit of time to decide though!

I think you need to find a really nice LC black tri stud! Is the boy you're thinking of using LC? I suppose as long as they're structurally & physically nice color doesn't matter so much anyway. And if they all came out SOW's you could maybe choose a different stud for the second breeding since you don't want the SOW's being dominating in your lines. Never know until you try though!

I wish Leah was a boy. Leah would have been a perfect boy. I could die that she is a girl. I don't really want any blacks. What I really want are solid creams, reds and fawns, fawn or red spotted on white is also OK w/ me -- I know, not really very interesting. LOL so many people I know all they get at first are black tris. Since I mostly want my own show puppies, and b & t don't show as well, I don't want them hahahaha. I know color is the last thing I am supposed to be concerned w/ though. The stud I'm considering is a smooth-- same coloring as she is

Eh I know the darker colors don't show as well. (boooo!!! to that!!) Light colors are so boring! But so far you've got some exceptional looking "boring" colored Chi's LOL so you shouldn't go wrong sticking with them. Honestly, I don't dislike the lights as much as I used to. hehe And you obviously have an eye for picking them.... I'm very excited to see what you produce...well your Chi's! haha

Well, at least you know it wouldn't have to be shipped as I am out your way 2-3 times a year to see my folks Based on the lines she has and the fact that I will use a nice boy, I bet I won't have any trouble selling puppies, esp. b'c the parents will be health tested and all that good stuff. I am excited! I hate that I have to wait til next spring, too!
