Crap I feel like I need to get on your "list" if you'll be that reasonable in the beginning!! LOL Sounds like a good plan though. And if you're able to show & do well with Katie I'm sure you could easily get way better prices for the pups sooner! Mobie...I've pretty much decided he needs to go if I EVER want to get a show dog and/or breed again in the next 15 years. But he needs to go to someone I know & know will take perfect care of him. LOL That's my mission right now. And honestly...I'm in the process of talking with Pockets owner. She was on the fence about getting him in the beginning as well as Pockets but being as she's never had a dog herself she didn't want to commit. They are so blown away & over the moon in love with Pockes & her hubby said he'd take Mobie if my hubby made me "put him by the mailbox". (long story you may or may not have heard LOL) Anyway, I sort of put a bug in her ear yesterday at work & told them to chat about it. But she also told me her daughter wanted her to start calling him Boo if they got him (so I guess they'd been discussing it anyway). Her daughters fav author is Boo Radley so that's what she has wanted to name her "white dog" when she gets him. So we'll see. Fingers crossed! Mobie may become a Boo... haha Boo is an adorable name! I actually think Radley is super cute for a dog too! Maybe I should name Katie that...?? I think you are on the right track. It sucks, we both are in the same boat -- we have a good sized pack of pets that does limit us Thats why I feel I just cannot add more pets but its so hard, I wanted to keep Asia so badly.

Yep, Radley would be cute for Katie! It's sort of masculine but could defo be one of those unisex names! Pockets mom's daughter was so cute when she came to see the pups/pick up Pockets. She wants a white Chi but has just started college & knows it's not a good time. But she was teling me if she could she'd get Mobie & name him Boo Radley. Had it all planned out....was so cute. So maybe it's meant to be? *fingers crossed* They are amazing owners & a perfect family for a Chi...or two. haha So we'll see. It is soooooo hard not to view the pups as loving little beings because they are especially when they're not these crawling, expressionless little mousey things. LOL I was getting way too in love with Mobie because he wasn't spoken for & while I still am I'm trying to be responsible about it too. Definitely not an easy thing to do when you're so in love with them! LOL I think when we do this again I will "list" them for sale a bit earlier. I think maybe that would have made it a bit easier in a weird sort of way? Maybe it would keep me in the right mind set. haha And you were definitely lucky to find such a great fit for Asia too! You'll get to see/hear about her all the time even though she's not geographically close to you. Knowing she has the perfect family outside of yours is almost as good or better in some ways!

I think when the time is right you will find your girl -- I mean, Maine definitely could use some better breeders and so could NH. Massachusetts really doesn't have any either that I am aware of, so you could corner the market!

Yes we're definitely lacking decent breeders. I do have one that I like but more for a decent pet breeder (if we want to go there?). I do think she gets most of her dogs now from a decent show breeders though so some of her adults aren't all that bad. (most newer are MUCH better than when I first started "stalking" her site LOL) They maybe not GREAT but I've seen erm, much worse. But you have a point there.... And yes, when the time is right. I've been window shopping for a good year & am having no problem passing on "cute" Chi's. LOL So I think I'm in the right mind set.
