I would recommend it Paula. I usually put it in Brody's bed and then put his tiger dreamz sack on top of it and he crawls in and the heat just comes on through it. Works great. But like I said, don't expect it to be soft - it's hard. But I do like it.

i have one too they are very hard i used to put it underneath the cushion in Twig's bed - i prefer the heatpad i have

yes, they are brick hard. No amount of cushioning is going to disguise sleeping on a brick!
Sometimes I put it in the corner of his bed with his sleeping bag on top. They he can choose whether he wants to sleep on top of it or not.

yes i have one,put it under a blanket for tiny Dottie,she likes to put her head on it,have the heater as well but wouldn't leave it on if i wasn't here,for really cold nights i use snugglesafe as the heater isn't that warm

I wonder why it has to be that hard? Seems a bit weird. I want a non electric source of heating for when I'm not here, just wish it wasn't so hard.
