Strange Spot (Pics)

Heather....I showed you a similar pic like this the other day...but it was sort of blurry...finally was able to get some better pics...but has anyone ever seen anything like this?

He doesn't have any bumps, no irritation with the skin, & I can't get whatever it is to wash off....is this just a change of coloring in his fur? It is shaped like a S....is it the weirdest thing I have seen on him....


I am posting 4 pics to make sure you can see it....I am obsessed with trying to find out what it could be. I hate to take him to the Vet & it be nothing....then again...I hate to think it could be something & I am harming him by not taking him. Opinions please.

The only thing I could really find online is that sometimes their salvia can cause the fur to change coloring....so don't know if that is true or not...

The best I can tell....it looks like just his fur.

And no chance of someone drawing on him lol or hair dye? I wouldn't worry about it it is odd tho!! If it was skin I'd say maybe worms

As Sarah said, if its no directly on his skin, causing his irritation/discomfort or any lumps etc, then I'd leave it for now but keep a close eye on it for any changes.

Did you try shampooing it out yet? How long has it been there? Weird!

Hmm very weird. It looks like a change in coloring in a section of his hair? As long as it's not a lump or anything (which you already said it isn't) I wouldn't worry about it really.
