They couldn't fit it down her throat? Like there's an obstruction? Or is she swollen?? What are they going to do? Glad the spay went well xx

Oops that should have said find! They couldn't find anything down her throat so now i've just got to hope the antibiotics clear up whatevers wrong with her quickly as the last thing i want her doing when shes just been spayed is reverse sneezing as it makes her whole body expand when shes doing it. They have said shes not done it since shes been coming round from the anethestic but they will talk to me when i get to pick her up at half 4.

Make sure that you get to see the vet. Sometimes the nurse will just bring the dog out to you and you don't get to talk to the vet but seeing as you don't want to have to pay to go back again, make sure you get to speak to the vet!
Its funny that I read it as find even though you wrote fit lol

Good point, i bet the nurse will bring her out so i'll ask to see the vet. They have charged me for looking down her throat as well as the spay so i want an answer as to whats wrong with her. It crossed my mind if maybe she ate a wasp or something and it stung her throat? She doesnt normally eat things outside but who knows. I dont know what allergies they would be though, shes never had allergies before and shes just turned 3.

I think if that were the case it would've been an emergency vet visit! I don't think that could be it. Who knows though, hopefully its done now.
Wow, seriously they're charging you for looking down her throat for a few seconds? Thats quite disgusting. I mean, if there had been something stuck there and they'd removed it then yes, charge but wow thats a bit much for just a look?
My vets just bring the dog out and the next time you go back for the post op check, thats when you see the vet. When Chaos had his op I actually got to go in and speak to the vet and he didn't rush me at all so I was very happy.
