Erm im not sure really, i know we have a dogs trust nearby. The injections are half price this month though for national vaccination month so will cost me about £70. I wouldn't be struggling with money so much if my car hadn't just broke, mot, tax and insurance all ran out at the same time too then my car failed its mot so its been a bit of a month. I always worry that im bringing things home to my dogs, when i first started working in the kennels all our dogs at home had an upset stomach for a few days.

In Warwickshire. I think we have a PDSA close too but i was told they will only help if you're on benefits? As i live with my mum and shes on an ok wage we can't get help with anything normally. I've just thought, if daisy wasn't in season would other males still be showing interest in her? As earlier we met another in tact male dog and he was having a good sniff off her as has jake

w your vet is expensive! Mine is free consultation if you have meds, you just pay for them. Also- did she get out of your sight? I'd hate to think of some Staffy or god knows what mounting her. The PDSA and RSPCA do cheap neuters/spays but you have to be on certain benefits and in a catchment area, sometimes the dogs homes/ shelters do them cheap cos it saves them money not hgaving to carew for unwanted puppies in the future. Got Napoleon done on tues only 50 quid.

Wow £50, thats brilliant. I get charged for consultation regardless of if we get meds or not!
The PDSA help if you receive housing benefit. Not sure about the RSPCA. As Sarah said Ceila Hammond do neuters/spays for a discounted amount. We have a lot of people here who do not vaccinate or like Sarah do a partial vacc.
Instead of thinking about all this now, I'd just wait and see what the vets says. He won't spay her now anyway so try not to worry about all of that!
Just wanted to say though, I have heard of dogs trying to mate through the bars of a crate so be extra vigilante and let everyone in the house know not to let them anywhere near Heidi.

I had the blood test done too but the spay was still £180, and i got charged £10 for 5 days worth of antibiotics for her throat (which still hasn't cleared up properly btw!). Cost me £60 to have the 3 of the microchipped too and that was when it was on offer. Since the blood earlier there doesn't seem to be any more but she keeps licking herself Will have a look for this Ceila place never heard of it before. Haha yeh i wouldn't put it past them to mate through the bars when they were last in season i crated all of them just incase
