I know when we cry our little Chis like to lick our tears away, but I always assumed it was 'cos they like the salty taste, lol!
But eating brekky this morning, a chunk of my tooth broke off, leaving a nasty painful pointy bit scraping away at the inside of my face. (Bloody pumpkin seeds, lol!) So, I managed to get in to see the dentist, who filled and rebuilt the tooth for me, and little Harry has been all over me like a rash since I got back. He keeps looking up at me, as if checking to see if the pain is still there.
Am I imagining this, or do you think they care when they sense when we feel pain?

They say dogs can sense a lot of things they know when something is going intake lotus for instance she's not too keen on my sister but when she was pregnant she went and sat on her tummy and went to sleep the next day she had my nephew two days early so yeah I think they know what's going on

IDK but Oakley is a tiny little bitch and doesn't care!! Bryco definitely tries to cheer me up tho so maybe boys are more empathetic than girls.

That was one of the reasons I wanted a boy, 'cos I'd read that, and I know it's been true (most of the time) with all the cats I've owned! The girls are like 'Oh puhleaaze... we're female... we have pain in our lives... get used to it!' But I still think my next Chi's gonna be a girl... I can't cope with any more of the boy marking thing... lol!

I believe our dogs know how we feel. Lula knows when i'm ill or in pain. When i cut myself, she is super curious, trying to nuzzle her way to wherever the cut is.
If i'm feeling ill, she cuddles up to me and if i'm snoozing, she'll stare at me and put her paw and prod me on my face (very gently) I think to see if i'm still alive! lol
I think they also pick up when you don't like someone as they are sensitive to your vibes...I can't stand one of my dads neighbours (he's a bully and generally nasty man!) and when Lula sees him, she growls and huffs under her breath as if to say...'Keep away from my mummy' lol

IDK but Oakley is a tiny little bitch and doesn't care!! . Bahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!! You know whats funny, my dogs used to care lol. When I broke up with my ex I was really upset and Kiki came and sat on my lap with me and snuggled but now if anything happens or I feel ill they just give me one look and walk off lol. But yes, I do believe that they knows whats going on and will try and cheer you up!

But on a lighter note... Lotus... the induced labour replacement! Maybe you could sell her services! ;-)
