WTF! LOL I got a call from my vet yesterday to remind me that Leah's spay is next week...I said um, I'm sorry, I didn't schedule a spay for her? To which they went into the typical vet "spay schpeel". So I said very politely, I am showing her, and if she passes health tests, most likely breeding her, so you see, spaying her is not conducive with those things. The guy was like, "yadda yadda yadda should have her spayed yadda yadda yadda responsible yadda".
Its so ridiculous I can't even be pissed, wtf, are they thinking, scheduling spays and neuters for people's dogs?

I can't decide if I would be happy they did that or not if I were just a regular pet owner? I think I'd be irritated...
Honestly after having let Bryco mature, I don't plan on spaying/neutering early again in the future, I think girls should have a season and boys should be allowed their hormones til at least 1 or so! I have done a lot of reading/research on it and I feel like the early spay/neuters might not be all they are cracked up to be, altho lol, gosh only knows when I will have my next pet!

The problem w/ boys is the marking,...but I would think proper crate training could keep it under control. There is always a slightly different look about a dog allowed to mature with its hormones than one that didn't. I wish I hadn't spayed Oakley so early

Even as just a pet owner that seems pushy to me. Will it change your course on the vet to use going forward or was this the vet group you had decided? I am still on the hunt for a vet who specializes in smaller breeds and knows something about nutrition and supplements. You know, basically the Chupacabra of veterinarians haha! Mine is very good but is lacking in these areas.
p.s. Leah and Ivy REALLY think that they should have yellow, not blue ribbons on their pics n your siggy. They do.
