I find that if I don't add water, they won't drink any but will start crying at about 2am to get out of bed and have water so I mix it in and they are fine with it. I do give them a chicken wing to help their teeth and also brush their teeth (as best as they'll allow me).

Those of you that feed Ziwi how much does it cost you a month per dog? I think im going to put Jake on it, i've been having to soak his kibble because hes given up with the Acana i think he finds it a bit much because its quite hard to bite through compared to other kibbles. Im changing Daisy onto adult food next month too (is 12 months about the right time to change it?) and i need a fairly good food, but not too good that she eats it all in one go as the other pup at my dads is free fed so she has to be too, if i put Daisy on Acana i know she would eat it all in one go then go and help herself to his food. I was going to try her on fish4dogs but she doesn't like their treats so i don't know

I feed Taste of The Wild. I chose it because I think the ingredients look decent (1st 3 ingredients are Bison, lamb and chicken), it's grain free, ....and it's easy for me to run and get it locally. And they both really love it!

So my girls hate kibble with water mixed it. lol. I have been putting Goat's Milk in Izzie's though. They only eat Fromm's now though, with a chicken wing meal 2/3x a week. Izzie didn't like Ziwi, both girls hate THK, they love raw, but I can't feed raw correctly w/out it buying it premade, so kibble with raw meals sometimes will have to work!
They do good on it though, their coats are shiny and healthy, their poops aren't too bad, so it works for us!

The ziwi booklet says that a 1kg bag would last a 2.2lb dog 53 daily servings and a 6.5lb dog 26.5 daily servings so i guess it wouldn't cost any more to feed him ziwi than what it does to feed heidi acana. I'll order some anyway lol

Mine didn't do particularly well with Ziwi so I went with Stella and Chewy's which I think is pretty comparatively priced with Ziwi. I thought it was going to be a lot more expensive, but it really hasn't cost much more than it did when I was feeding Orijen, so I bet you're right that you won't notice much of a jump from Acana. That said, I really haven't noticed any change in their coat, appearance, health, enegry etc from when I was feeding kibble. But they really like it

Did it give them upset stomachs? My boss said its quite rich. I'll order him a bag of the lamb one (because its cheaper lol) and if he doesn't like it well Heidi will eat anything anyway
