Yes, the kept having really loose poops. They really really liked it though, I got a sample bag from the company and once I realized it was giving them diarrhea I just used the rest for treats. One or two little pieces didn't cause a problem and they went NUTS for it, so you will be able to use it up even if it doesn't work as their main food. No problems with Stella and Chewy's, not sure if they have that there.

Hmm i'll have to see how he goes on it then. I did order a sample bag a while ago but they were out of stock. But they do love the treats so like you said i can always use it as treats if not. I don't think we get stella and chewys. I've managed to get him to eat a little bit of Acana today but for about a week now hes only eaten about 20g per day and he should be on at least 60, hope he doesn't start loosing weight took me ages to get him to a decent size. Heidi however has turned into a huge lump of muscle since going on Acana, its freaky

So i worked out why Jake wont eat Acana anymore...he has a chipped tooth at the front. Not sure whether it was the food that caused it or not but the tooth is in a very odd place i think it needs taking out

At least i think its chipped anyway, its hard to tell but he won't keep still for long enough for me to look. I'm going to get him booked in the vets so they can take a look, even if its not chipped i think its going to need to come out because its quite high up in his gums and is pointing outwards :S Hopefully they can do it at the same time he gets neutered

That would be a torture, don't you think? The pain of taking it out plus the neutering? Hmm.. Maybe a bunch of anesthetics for dogs would do it.. But still, I was thinking if he's strength is enough for those.

But then dont you think its better to get it all done and out the way, and not have to have him under anesthetic twice. The tooth turned out not to be chipped but i have him booked in to be neutered on monday and they will have a look and see if it needs to come out at the same time which i think it does because its in an odd place and serving no purpose there
