I think if the mystery three do put there heads up ! ......... it would cripple there reputation and a life times work within the breed and lets hope they are sorting the problem out themselves respectively ! As i have a feeling there are very wel known Chi people in the Industry ! Hence why they are not coming forward x

I agree Rosie, I think it's disgusting they aren't coming forward. I understand they must be devisatsted but if they are still Breeding from These dogs they need stringing up. I hope the owners of the sires of Graham's dogs test theirs too. Harry's sire is such a prolific stud. Kristi said something the other day which really made me think is maybe it is in the majority of chis.. Think we need to assume every line isaffected. I know mine is.
The other issue we have is dogs who have been retired into pet homes plus pups who have been pet homed, whilst their litter mates may not have it what if they do? Wish I had millions to fund DNA research

It would be incredibly irresponsible, in my opinion, NOT to come forward. I'm sorry but what is at stake here is FAR more important than a name. Hundreds, if not more, dogs are possibly affected. Pets included. This will not just be affecting pedigrees, either. How many people pet home the majority of their litter, and then how many of those pet homes then take it upon themselves to breed. This will take very many years to breed out, but it will take even longer if people do not put their hands up and say that their line has it. Its not good guessing. Names should be given, as many dogs as possible should be tested, and then people can look through their lines and try to work around it. Without a DNA test, this is going to be the best way to go about it, seeing as bitches are bred around their second or third season, which is before the 2 1/2 year mark.
And what good will your name be if you are knowingly breeding, and selling dogs with SM in your line without informing people.

I agree Lucy I think that was Graham's point in his article. Lotus isn't even 2 yet she has had a litter. I know it's in her lines because of Graham's results.... Harry is her great uncle so I need to scan her and tbh I would be inclined to scan leilani although she isn't being bred and the the boys too. It's so much to think about

no its not my place to tell u who as it was on a privet group it was said, but i can assure you it will all come out soon. Some people might not be sure whats going on and want to devise a minimal damage plan, i know that is what i am doing.......

I don't think that person was one of the three though, Graham specifically said these people were continuing to breed from their lines despite the scan results, whereas the person you're talking about has nothing left of their line.
