Darla and Daisy have theirs, but Dillon doesnt have his. I think it looks strange compared to the girls, but i guess his breeder has it done at a really young age.

Our lab had the same thing happen as Trigger and he was MISERABLE. He didnt notice the neuter at all, but acted like he couldnt even walk and had an upset tummy and was constantly bothering at his leg where the dewclaw had been done. We actually took him back in a day or two after because he was so reluctant to move even to get food/water that we thought he was dying LMBO ... yeah, that was Trigger. He was REALLY bothered by it grown back, and it came back AFTER 8 weeks when I got him at the breeder. At first I thought he had a bone abscessing or something! Then I noticed mangled nail was growing on it. He SCREECHED whenever we went near that paw as a pup. The surgery seemed to really upset him too and he didn't notice hew as neutered at all just his poor wee arm.

I wish our Humane Society could remove them during their spay. They will prolly live fine with them, but they are annoying to grind and hearing some stories about them, they'd be better off without them.
