I'm wondering what insurance plan you all use for your dogs and what it costs and what it covers. I don't have insurance for Pip and Roo as I generally have enough put aside in savings, but I'm considering getting a basic plan for them. I've been looking at Pet Plan. Does anyone use it? If so, which plan (gold, silver, bronze) and what deductible did you choose?
I'm curious about other plans as well so would love to hear from anyone and what you use.
(I hope I'm not creating a thread that already exists, but I couldn't find one.)

I wish I would have had pet insurance when Brody had his eye problem. It was about $1200. Ugh.

Ouch, Tracy! I'm about to renew mine. At the moment one of mine isn't covered because I wanted to get them all onto the same one starting from the same time because it gets confusing. We had Marks and Spencers (just a supermarket but they do it through another insurance copany) and it was £12.74 for Kiki and she had the premier cover of this one: money.marksandspencer.com/insurance/pet-insurance/premier-cover/So was insured for up to £7000 per year. Never claimed or anything, got her spayed though and when it came time renew it was just over double so left them. I tried a quote from pet plan and it was just way too expensive for the cover I want. I'd like nothing less than £4k cover.

I was checking quotes recently and found a great deal which was £30 a month for all three of them, however the maximum cover was only £3,000 and that was their premium cover so I will keep searching!

I have Petplan...I pay on average $250/year per dog, give or take a few bucks lol. I have the $200 deductible with 100% coverage thereafter. On Oakleys I did the 80% coverage which I can't up now that shes had a claim without blowing my premium way up...it saves me like $50 a year but its so not worth it if something expensive happens!
