I think you need to know what's behind it as well if it comes from a litter of ugly dogs then I would tread with caution because odds are it was a fluke prettydog and it's gonna give you ugly pups This breeding lark is so confusig you have to take so many things into consideration!! Pauline what do you think the easiest faults to correct are?

I would say bigger eyes and ears - I think the hardest are mouths, straight fronts, well set tails, well set ears as am told that these faults can skip a generation ..........not easy and as I was told, if it was, eveyone would be breeding brill dogs. I am no expert as so far I have only two generations in my kennel from Maria - Mouse (stud dog carried the testicular problem) and Bella so will look forward to see how Amelia and Millie's pups turn out.

I want to improve on lotus' front it's not bad but not as straight as id like and she's lazy as well so doesn't always stand with her feet straight! That book is so interesting really enjoying it.

Packed with info and I used it a lot - but she was a bit OTT at times. I hardly use any of her suggested whelping equipment for instance - just my (cleaned) fingernails to 'cut' the cord and have never dared to try tube feeding......... but have used a syringe to help.

There's videos on YouTube for tube feeding Some of her stuff seems a little dated mind you I tend to ignore bits like that tho
