Its just like, those dogs need and long for human affection and companionship. Its why I don't want a kennel -- if I have so many dogs they can't in some facet live in the house, I will pet some out. I know that won't be easy but bottom line is that is NO WAY for an animal to live! Especially a dog! What you just said brings to mind a breeder who, when asked how many Chis she has, she just smiles and says she doesn't know exactly 'over 2 dozen, but not sure'. Apparently she has a 'dog room' in her house where the Chis live. Can't help but think this is wrong, to keep that many in one place, especially as I understand it's quite a small house. Whenever I hear the name or read about her, I always wonder if those little Chis aren't actually close to being farmed.

It is very sad but its necessary for everyone to be reminded of the fact that this still goes on every day. Especially people who think its ok to buy dogs from pets stores etc. Like I said before, this even happens in peoples homes And the worst thing you can do is to see them and buy them because you feel bad. This unfortunately only encourages them to breed more

Some months ago, I went into a pet shop in West London and I was shocked as I saw loads of puppies there . I already didnt like seeing kittens in certain pet shops, but puppies???!!! It really depressed me! And apparently they are allowed to sell puppies. They were sorted according to size in different open kennels, which was already terrible. But the smell was almost unbearable! It just smelled like pee and poop everywhere, to an extent that I washed all the clothes I was wearing! As I asked the lady where they get the puppies from she said "that they get them from trustworthy breeders" .... yeah right.... more like from puppy farms! I felt very sorry for all these puppies but I know buying them means that u support them, so I left with a tear in my eye. Afterwards I disinfected me and my partner and washed all the clothes we were wearing, before we touched Rocky. Who knows what these poor puppies got.

Wow, seriously trustworthy breeders? Honestly I don't know of a single trustworthy breeder who'd be happy to sell their dogs to a shop for any tom, dick or harry to walk in and buy one!

There's a small shop local to us like that and the owner gets aggressive when you question him I can't go in there because I'll get arrested lol but the smell is awful and it's pitch black where the puppies are
