aweeee Louie!!
I don't have any pics but mine are in the car similarly -- harnessed to something, and buckled in. I used to not bother but I do feel its safer to harness them to something so they can't go crashing about in the event of a wreck.

Yeah i'm really not a fan of letting dogs run about in the car. My MIL lets her jack russell jump from front to back and all sorts. Really annoys me!
If i'm travelling with someone he will often sit on my lap or on the seat next to me as he doesn't move anyway. He is good, but only coz he doesnt like it lol

So many cute pics. I harness mine into a bucket seat. They were both terrified of the car for the longest time after I got them, but they have become better, Pip moreso. Roo is still a bit leery and will cry off and on, but nothing like she used to.

Ok, bad Chi mummy here doesn't buckle the babies in. But they do sit nicely in the passenger side seat. Once in a while I'll stuff a smaller one in my jacket or something where they'll sit quietly but that's on an odd day when maybe I'm needing a little TLC and want them close. LOL But usually I make them behave in the passenger seat....

wow! I want a proper doggie car seat!
Maybe Louie would feel more comfortable if he could see where we were going and feel the breeze from the window
