How is it all looking now? Good luck on Monday, hope its good news! Its looking good the wound has completely healed now with the exception of a small spot were an internal stich worked its way through his skin. You can feel th plate under his skin and if you look carefully you can see the oblong lump were it is. He is still in his crate but we are hoping the vet will tell us on monday he can come out and start walking again. OH is wrapping him up in cotton wool at the moment he wont let him do anything. He is now bored with his crate and with the better weather I have been taking him out to sit in the garden with him on a lead so he can get some fresh air and a change of scenery. I will try to get a new photo of him when he is out later. |

Buck can now go for lead only walks he is not allowed to run, jump or rough play and we have to avoid hills. He is still in his crate in the house as he has to be kept calm.
We are back at the vets in 6 weeks and by then it will be healed as well as it is going to heal and all restrictions will be removed.

Oh that is good news! Must be nice for poor Buck to really get out and stretch his legs. Let's hope the next 6 weeks don't drag by too much!

Good news for Buck despte a minor set back a couple of weeks ago when his leg swelled up and needed a trip to the vets Buck has now been discharged he can run and play and do anything he wants to. We are still taking things slowly but he is now all mended. The swelling was a bruise but because of the speed it came up we went to visit our vet. She put a needle into it and only blood came out so she gave him and antibiotic injection and the swelling had gone down the next day. With his best buddy Willow  and little Lily is now feeling a bit put out as the boys are now back together.  |
